A southern Catfish processing center need a labeling machine to effectively function in a harsh environment. Because of an extremely wet and cold environment, the system to be installed required a heated enclosure what was built to a washdown standard. The label being applied was also required to wrap around the corner of the box so the content information was viewable from two adjacent sides of the carton.
FOX IV developed a solution that included a stainless steel environmentat enclosure. This enclosure was equipped with a heating unit to accomodate the cold temperatures. To accomodate a wrap around label FOX IV modified the Sidewinder Corner Wrap with a stainless steel brush to withstand the extremely wet environment. This brush is a non wear item and has been working in the field for 5 years.
